OUTPUT by Volkswagen Slovakia in the first nine months of 2004 reached Sk134 billion (€3.36 billion), an increase of Sk4 billion (€100 million) year-on-year. The company produced 170,436 vehicles, more than 266,000 transmission boxes, and nearly 12 million components for the transmission boxes, the daily SME has reported.
VW Slovakia's foreign trade balance was positive, reaching Sk62 billion (€1.55 billion).
