Jobless rate falls to 10.63 percent

SLOVAKIA's unemployment rate in May was 10.63 percent, down 0.41 percentage points month-on-month, Martin Labanc from the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family told the TASR news agency on June 9.

The district of Rimavská Sobota, in central Slovakia's Banská Bystrica region, had the highest unemployment rate at 29.51 percent, while the lowest was in the Bratislava IV district in the west of the capital at 1.85 percent.
