Šariš beer production soars

THE BREWERY Šariš, a.s., sold more than one million hectoliters of beer for the first time in its history in 2001, when it sold 1.05 million hectoliters. This is an increase of 10.9 per cent from 2000.

In 2002, the company plans to raise its output by 10 percent, said Drahomira Jancovicova of the company's public relations department.
