BRITAIN'S head of state, Queen Elisabeth II, and her husband Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh, will visit Slovakia in October. They will arrive in Slovakia, following a visit to Slovenia, on October 23 and leave on October 24.
Their visit follows an invitation from Slovak President Ivan Gašparovič.
It will be the royal couple’s first visit to both Slovakia and Slovenia.
The heir to the throne, Charles, Prince of Wales, stayed in Slovakia in November 2000, and Andrew, Duke of York, visited in October 2005.
