Japanese embassy awards Slovak politician

MP František Šebej contributes to deepening relations with Japan through several activities.

Chair of the parliamentary foreign affairs committee František Šebej (Most-Híd) received a state decoration from the Japanese government for foreign nationals.

He was decorated with the Order of the Rising Sun at the level of the Gold and Silver Star for his contribution to deepening the mutual understanding between Japan and Slovakia, through his political activities in parliament as well as karate activities, the Japanese Embassy in Slovakia stated.

Šebej is chair of the parliamentary Friendship with Japan group.
