A popular chalet that is also called Brnčalka, as an abbreviation from the historic name Brnčalova chalet, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the eastern part of the High Tatras.

Well-known is a view of the chalet, reflected in the water of the mountain lake with the dominant Jastrabia veža (Hawk Tower) above. The chalet is also the starting point to one of the most beautiful Tatra hikes, Jahňací Štít (Lamb Peak).

It has significant importance for all hikers and alpine skiers, as many hard climbing routes lead up to the peaks and alpine skiing is possible in nearby Zmrzlá valley and Baranie saddle.
