TO COMMEMORATE the Slovak translation of his book The Little Girl Who Was Too Fond of Matches, on March 11, Canadian writer Gaétan Soucy comes to Bratislava.
The presentation will start at 18:00 at the French Institute at Sedlárska 7. The novel, translated by Ľudmila Balúchová-Fialová, won Soucy the Grand Prix of the Quebec Literary Academy, and has been translated into several languages. Soucy's last novel, Music Hall, was published two years ago.
