The Celtic Days celebrate Britain's and Slovakia's common Celtic heritage through music, film, exhibition and performance. Here are just some of the highlights of the two month program throughout Slovakia:
MAY
24th- Scottish Chamber Orchestra Wind Ensemble, Slovak Philharmonic (Reduta), Bratislava (7 pm)
28th- Calum Colvin, Galéria Medium, Bratislava Contemporary photo exhibition closing June 20th.
30th- "The Malones", British Council. Panská 17, Bratislava (6 pm) Celtic folk music.
JUNE
2nd- "Dancing at Lughnasa", Divadlo West, Kolárska ulica, Bratislava (7 pm) Tony-award winning play in English.
3rd- "Celtic Film Day", Kino Klub, nám. Mieru 1, Prešov (5 pm-7:30 pm)
4th- "Dancing at Lughnasa", Študio Smer, Košice (7 pm) Tony-award winning play in English.
5th- Exhibitions by Tony Cragg & Christopher Nash, Slovak National Gallery, Bratislava Currently running and closing June 1 and June 8 respectively.
6th- "A Celtic Evening", Vodná eža, Vajanského nábrežie, Bratislava (5 -
10 pm) Song and dance for all.
6th- "Dancing at Lughnasa", Divadlo na rázcesti, Banská Bystrica (7 pm) Tony-award winning play in English.
