Western SLOVAKIA Bratislava SHOW: IT SEEMS that many would like to keep their childhood dreams. This is one possible explanation for why Disney’s shows are so popular in Slovakia that they usually sell out long before their arrival in the country. This time the famous characters, that have amused audiences in various forms for more than eighty years, present a series of performances taking place at Bratislava’s Incheba Expo Arena at Viedenská cesta 3-7 between April 30 and May 3, starting at various times. Mickey’s Magic Show features charming numbers by professional illusionists that will deceive even the most sceptical adults. Tickets cost between €23 and €35. EXHIBITION:A COLLECTION of toys and puppets from all around the world is on show in the town of Fiľakovo until May 12. Prepared by several museums, the exhibition contains an array of artefacts, most of which were crafted using traditional methods. They come, for example, from Hungary, Mexico and India and from three dozen other countries. “The Realm of Toys” includes also several enamelled toys made during World War II in a Fiľakovo factory.
