BALLET: BALET Bratislava, a new ballet ensemble founded by choreographer Mário Radačovský, will start its artistic performances with the famous love story of Romeo and Juliet, put to music by Sergei Prokofiev and choreographed by Radačovský. The opening nights of Rómeo a Júlia in Bratislava will be on November 11 and 12, 2011; its home stage will be the Nová Scéna Theatre, Živnostenská 1. The cast includes Katarína Košíková (pictured), Natália Némethová and Veronika Hollá – all performing as Juliet – and Peter Dedinský (also pictured) and Canadian dancer Arthur Abram, appearing as Romeo. EXHIBITION: Neznámy autor známych prác / The Unknown Author of Known Works - Jozef Vlček – An artist of Czech origin who worked in Slovakia during the wartime Slovak State, designed several stamps and was once a prominent graphic artist. He later slipped into obscurity, but Ľubomír Longauer is now seeking to rehabilitate his reputation.

EXHIBITION: Love and Death, La Suite Vollard - Láska a smrť – Exhibition of world-renowned painter Pablo Picasso's lesser-known works, mostly itchings form 1930's, has had enormous success, and thus the opening hours of the Bratislava City Gallery have been prolonged.
