AN EXHIBITION entitled Czech and Slovak Poster Art 1993-2003 is currently underway in the lapidarium room of the Bethlehem Chapel in Prague. On display are 140 posters by 24 leading artists, seven of them from Slovakia.
The exhibition premiered at the Centre of Arts in Silkeborg, Denmark, at the beginning of this year. The Museum of Poster Art in Aarhus, Denmark, bought the entire collection, and since then it has been touring the world.
The exhibition will run in Prague until May 20, moving on to Bratislava's Gallery Z in Zichy's Palace in June. Galleries in Israel, Mexico, and Japan have also shown interest in showing the exhibition.
