THE NAY House of Traditional Dances is a unique dance event aimed at bringing folk dance closer to people. It gives people an opportunity to learn traditional dances without the need to attend regular lessons or become a member of a folk dance ensemble. It also offers workshops for professional dancers. Part of the happening also includes concerts, dance performances, and a public dance party. The event starts November 6 at 10:00 and is scheduled to end Sunday morning. Tickets cost Sk199-499. WESTERN SLOVAKIA
THE THEME of the Little Prince, a small boy travelling from planet to planet where each is a tiny world populated by a single adult, continues to inspire with its clarity and understanding of the world in which we live. The Košice State Theatre has transformed the story into a dancing fairy-tale for children and adults, mixing visual arts, movement, music, film and theatre. Along with the Little Prince's space odyssey, the performers simultaneously unveil the life story of its creator, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
