Dance-theatrical ensemble Ars Corp in cooperation with the Astorka Korzo theatre performs Baroque Testo, a wordless satire about people corrupted by power. Half dance and half theatrical performance Baroque Testo, a Latin term, which in English means Baroque Witness, joins a vision of Paradise - Beauty, Goodness and Justice - with the Apocalypse, the Last Judgement and Hell. The ensemble performs its piece, based on music by JS Bach and Slovak contemporary composer Vladimír Godár, for the first time on November 28 at 19:00 at Divadlo Astorka Korzo at SNP square 33, Bratislava. Nové stromy vo mne or New Trees Inside of Me is the latest show from Štúdio tanca, the dance troupe from Banská Bystrica. From the thematic point of view it is a sequel to the About Tree Inside of Me show from 1996, into which choreo-grapher Zuzana Hájková put her feelings about moving from Bratislava to Banská Bystrica. In the current piece she further develops the idea of comparing man and tree. Nine dancers deal with the birth of man and tree, the connection between man and woman and mankind's relationship with nature.
