ALMOST 80 wine cellars from Bratislava to Trnava on the Small Carpathian Wine Route (Malokarpatská Vínna Cesta - MVC) open on May 26 for wine lovers looking to taste whether wines from the last sunny season have met their promise. Apart from wines from the 2006 season, visitors can also taste older wines. After public interest exceeded capacity during the Day of Open Cellars in November, winemakers from the MVC decided to add another event on the calendar. Tickets cost Sk600, which includes a Sk300 voucher for buying wine. Tickets are available at the Vinotéka Sv. Urbana at Klobučnícka 4 in Bratislava, in the Malokarpatské Osvetové Stredisko at Horná 20 in Modra and in the Mestská Vinotéka at Radničné Námestie 9 in Pezinok.
