Great skiing at low prices

AFTER a temporary warming, which most ski centres survived without any significant harm, winter weather will continue in the mountains. At the beginning of the week we can expect snow showers which could bring up to 10 cm of new snow. In the second half of the week the clouds will disappear and, as they depart, temperatures will fall.

At the beginning of the week we can expect day temperatures in the mountains at around – 2 to as low as – 10 degrees towards the weekend. Not only is the weather favourable for great skiing, but there are also very good discounts on skipasses and acommodations.

On Saturday March 14 you can take part in the Malá Fatra Open skialpine race in Vrátna, or you also have a chance to show off your skiing skills in the amateur slalom race at the Paseky slope. A big freestyle contest will take place on the southern slopes of Chopok at the Kosodrevina hotel at the Snow Show Chopok Juh 2009. In Skipark Ružomberok, at the Malina slope, the final round of the all-season contest for four-wheeler terrain bikes will be held.
Another week of great winter skiing season seems to be ahead!
