Lizzie McGuire (Hilary Duff) and her friends are on a school trip to Rome, where Lizzie gets mistaken for the Italian pop singer Isabella. While she seems to like it - her inner thoughts are shown as animation - her worried parents and her brother decide to come and put everything in the right place.
