The biggest surprise of the 2019 presidential election came one month before it actually took place.
The rocket start of Zuzana Čaputová, who rose to the top of the polls several weeks before the vote while the last pre-moratorium polls favoured her with the slightly exaggerated 45 or 53 percent of the vote in the first round, has now been confirmed in the election.

The real results have also shown that the speculation that she might win the entire election in the first round was not a reality. The final 40 percent constitutes a very good result, but Čaputová now needs to repeat this success in the second round.
The preliminary polls favour her. But how will the votes of those who voted for other candidates shift in the second round?
What will Štefan Harabin and Marian Kotleba supporters do? And who will Milan Krajniak, František Mikloško and Béla Bugár support?
