Sentenced!

It is definitely good news that at least one emblematic scandal did not end in vain.

The word “justice” does not come out very enthusiastically when pronounced in connection with the sentences for former ministers Janušek and Štefanov. Certainly, twelve and nine years are high sentences for guilt that has been proven, but it is not only theirs.

Of course, they did not “secure the publishing of the call [...] whereby they prevented others from participating in the tender”. That is true. They were not the (only) “final beneficiaries” though, or at least, were not supposed to be.

Or does anyone think they were?
