Visegrad won nothing, only helped Orbán flex his muscle

If anyone assessed the deal from Brussels about future EU leaders just based on the statements of Viktor Orbán, Mateusz Morawiecki, and Peter Pellegrini, they would tend to believe Visegrad has harvested an historic success.

But the region won not even one key position in Brussels and Slovakia helped Orbán flex his autocratic muscle, with no positive vision. Like children who cannot build their sand castle together, they have vengefully kicked down whatever others have managed to build, led by the one who shouts the loudest.

Orbán boasts that "we have elected the mother of seven children to lead the EU", which clearly implies for him that a change is coming.
