Minority experts have slammed the plans of the Ano ruling coalition party to aid the nation’s Roma population by sending missionaries to 500 of the worst Roma ghettoes and building kibbutz-like communities.
Despite the fact the plight of the Roma is top of the agenda for both the government and European Union observers, the new Dzurinda cabinet has still not decided how to approach the issue, or even which cabinet members will be responsible for it.
