SLOVAKIA'S balance of payments for the period January-October 2004 posted a surplus of Sk33.6 billion (€870 million), the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS) reported Friday, according to the TASR news agency.
The current account had a deficit of Sk32.2 billion (€830 million) while the capital and financial accounts were both in surplus, totalling Sk58.2 million (€1.5 million).
