In line with an agreement between shareholders concerning year-long stints at the helm of Slovak gas distributor SPP, incumbent chairman Bernd Wagner is to resign as of July 1, with Jean-Jacques Ciazynski replacing him.
Ciazysnki told the TASR newswire that he is taking over the post at a time when Wagner has managed to prove that SPP is a reliable partner for both Slovak and foreign partners.
Changes have also been made to the company’s supervisory board, with vice-chairman of the board Eric Stab to be replaced by Ulrich Scholer. SPP’s shareholders include Slovakia, via its National Property Fund (51 percent), and a consortium of companies comprising E.ON Ruhrgas and GDF Suez (49 percent). SPP’s main activities are trading in natural gas and securing operational and support services connected with gas distribution.
