On January 10, the Sme daily wrote that ĽS-HZDS nominee Branislav Bríza, who nearly caused the collapse of the ruling coalition, will remain in his post as chairman of the supervisory board of the Slovak Land Fund (SPF) until summer.
Agriculture Minister Zdenka Kramplová, who holds the power to dismiss or nominate new members to the supervisory board, explained that personnel changes wouldn’t occur until legislation addressing some of issues facing the fund was passed.
Several weeks ago, Prime Minister Robert Fico accused Bríza of signing suspicious land transfer contracts. SITA
