Brussels gets cabinet Eurofund explanation

The government yesterday sent the EU in Brussels a final report on the measures it has taken since a spring scandal involving possible abuse of EU funds, in the hope of freeing 15 million euro in Slovak funds the EU has frozen. The European Parliament is to decide on the frozen funds December 15. Slovakia has yet to send the EU the results of a police investigation into the scandal, as the inquest has not been completed.
