AT A SESSION on May 10, the Slovak government earmarked Sk270 million (€7.2 million) to cover the debt incurred last year by the public broadcaster Slovak Radio (SRo).
At the same time, the government tasked the culture minister to solve SRo's financing problems by the end of August this year, the TASR news wire wrote.
"It is already apparent that SRo will post a loss in 2006 as well, and the government will have to deal with the financial situation of this institution in the future," wrote the Finance Ministry.
