AN INTERNET cafe in the Slovak capital has decided to offer free access to the Internet for one month to the unemployed and people over 45 years of age.
The Internet centre on Vazovova Street opened a 'Public Writing Room' on October 1, and is offering the services of professionals who will fill out documents for senior citizens and unemployed people that they need for communication with the authorities.
The service is open every day from 15:00 to 17:00, during which time the customers can surf the Internet for free.
The Internet café organised the October offer in co-operation with a civic association called regiony.sk with the aim of helping people who have no access to the Internet to get acquainted with the modern technology.
