PUPILS will have to learn about the EU and its institutions starting from the 2004-2005 school year according to a proposal by the cabinet and the Education Ministry.
Children aged between 14 and 17 will attend lessons about the EU, a move related to the country's planned entry into the economic bloc in May next year.
Around 115,000 new textbooks will be distributed to schools for that purpose, said the state run TASR news agency.
