SALANS, the international law firm that acted as consultant on the sale of Západoslovenská energetika will receive at least Sk42 million (€1.1 million) for its services, according to the daily Pravda.
The law firm, which did not have to enter a public tender for the contract, was chosen to advise on the deal ahead of Allen & Overy and Jan Čarnogurský Jr.
In addition to an hourly rate the company also receives 0.3 percent of the sale price.
The Economy Ministry offered no comment on the choice of the legal consultants.
The cabinet and the government will decide how the revenues gained from the ZSE sale will be distributed.
