The ethnic Hungarian SMK party plans to sue SNS chairman Ján Slota for his “recent statements,” party leader Pál Csáky said on October 7.
Csáky failed to specify exactly which statements would be at the root of the case, Slota’s recent comments include comparing Hungarian Foreign Affairs Minister Kinga Gőncz to Hitler and deriding the Hungarian symbol – a mythic bird called a “turul” – as a “parrot.” TASR
