Draka Comteq investing in Prešov

THE DUTCH company Draka Comteq, a manufacturer of multimedia cables, is coming to Prešov in eastern Slovakia. The company plans to launch trial production in the Sirpo industrial zone in Prešov this summer.

Dušan Kováč from the IKF Service firm, which services the Dutch producer, announced that up to 40 jobs would be created in the first phase of the investment, the SITA news wire wrote.

The Dutch investor has rented 5,000 square meters of land, and further plots are being prepared to enlarge production.

In the long term, the firm plans annual production worth Sk2.4 billion (€64 million).
