Dvorský leads Slovak Institute in Rome

OPERA singer Peter Dvorský became the new head of the Slovak Institute in Rome in May, the SITA newswire wrote. He replaced Peter Krupár, who served in the post from 2009.

OPERA singer Peter Dvorský became the new head of the Slovak Institute in Rome in May, the SITA newswire wrote. He replaced Peter Krupár, who served in the post from 2009.

Slovakia has eight such institutions abroad: in Moscow, Warsaw, Budapest, Prague, Paris, Berlin, Vienna and Rome. The primary mission of the institutes is to promote and present Slovakia abroad, not only in the area of culture and art, but also in education, science, tourism and investment opportunities.
