The latest result of the ESI is the lowest since March 2010, the SITA newswire reported on September 28. The statistics explained that the indicator reflected a drop in the trust of construction industry and consumers, as well as the negative development from the two previous terms.

The ESI of trust in industry grew by 4.4 percentage points to -0.3 points. The main reason for such development was the increase in the production for following three months. Also the indicator in commerce increased, by 1-percentage point to 5.7 points, mostly thanks to the positive predictions of businessmen for the following months.

On the other hand, the ESI in construction dropped to the level of -45.5 points, which is 5.7 points less than the previous term. The main reason was the decrease in employment in the sector as well as the decrease in the number of orders.

The indicator of the trust in services remained at the level of 15.3 points.
