THE ECONOMY Ministry is currently working on a fresh inflow of eight major investors, each of which should create 900 to 3,000 new jobs, Economy Minister Pavol Rusko told the TASR news agency.
The ministry has decided to support these investments with cash grants from financial reserves.
Rusko says Slovakia has a real chance of strengthening the level of investments in the automotive, electro-technical and chemical industries over the next two years.
"During 2006, we also want to focus on high-added-value products. We want to encourage companies which have their primary and final production in Slovakia, so that they can attract development, research and construction," the minister said.
