FDI falls to $1.2 billion in 2001

Slovakia in 2001 attracted Sk57.3 billion ($1.19 billion) in direct foreign investment, down from the over Sk2 billion taken in 2000, according to preliminary data from the central bank. Most of the inflow went into privatisation sales.
