In addition, Figeľ wants Ďurkovský to account for what has been going on in the Bratislava Waterworks Company (BVS) in recent months and years. According to the current mayor of Bratislava, Milan Ftáčnik, there is every indication that BVS has been the subject to financial misconduct, as the volume of water produced has risen yet the amounts invoiced have decreased and water losses have increased. “We’ll talk about serious issues ... so that I can form my own opinion about what’s true,” Figeľ said, as quoted by the TASR newswire.
