The head of Siemens Business Services (SBS) in Slovakia has accused the Finance Ministry of clientelism as a result of a tender for an information system that Siemens lost to Hewlett Packard.

Peter Prónay, the managing director of SBS, said that Daniel Ferjanček, head of the tender commission in charge of selecting the system for the state treasury, had pressured bidders to accept software from a subcontractor with links to the Finance Ministry.
