Deputy Parliament's Speaker Martin Glváč has already had trouble with the people he has been texting. Earlier this year, messages that he exchanged with Alena Zsuzsová were leaked to the public.

The decoded messages from the Threema app now suggest that he had also been texting with Zsuzsová's collaborator Marian Kočner. The prosecutor pressed formal charges against the two on October 21, for ordering the murder of Ján Kuciak, which also resulted in the killing of Martina Kušnírová. Another two people are charged with committing the murder.
The Denník N daily reported on the same day that Glváč exchanged 49 messages with Kočner around the time the murder was committed, between October 2017-May 2018. Kočner was being detained in that time due to charges pertaining to another case.
Glváč and Kočner allegedly discussed business involving land in Čierna Voda. Politics was also discussed in the messages - they wrote about the government reshuffling following the For a Decent Slovakia protests that followed the murder.
