IVO publishes report on state of society

The Institute for Public Issues (IVO) has published its 8th annual global report on the State of Society, involving over 50 experts and analysts from the non-governmental sector, think tanks, and the academic community, the daily SME reported.

The report focuses on Mikulas Dzurinda’s first year as Prime Minister and covers four fundamental areas - domestic and foreign policy, business, and society. The authors aspire to diagnose the most acute problems and suggest avenues for improvement.

The willingness of the ruling coalition to continue its reforms prevails, despite internal discrepancies that have harmed the popularity of the four parties, says IVO President Grigorij Meseznikov. It also resulted in an increase in the support for opposition parties, he added.
