Katrina will result in higher insurance premiums in Slovakia

HURRICANE Katrina is expected to result in higher insurance premiums in Slovakia. However, insurance companies were unable to specify how much the increase would be.

The daily SME reported that insurance companies are covered by large international corporations, which want to minimize their losses.

It is expected that they will increase their premiums for insurance companies. These increases will have a trickle down effect that will result in increased premiums for insurance customers in Europe, including Slovakia.
