Kočner’s judiciary: Judge stepped down, prosecutor suspended

Both were communicating with Marian Kočner.

Vladimír Sklenka, former vice-chairman of the Bratislava I District Court, stepped down as judge. He announced it to President Zuzana Čaputová on December 6, the Sme daily reported.

Sklenka was intensively communicating with Marian Kočner via Threema app. They exchanged more than 8,000 messages. Sklenka was leaking sensitive information from the court and he was deciding according to Kočner’s instructions.

Kočner allegedly paid at least €11,000 to Sklenka via the company of Sklenka’s wife and he also gave him a new iPhone.
