The situation in the Balkans, European integration and bilateral relations will be discussed by the Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister, Miroslav Lajčák, and his Serbian counterpart Vuk Jeremic in Belgrade on October 2, TASR was told by the ministry's spokesperson, Peter Stano.
The Slovak minister is also to meet with Serbian President Boris Tadic, Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic, Parliament Chair Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic and Labour Minister Rasim Ljajic, who is also authorised to co-operate with the International Criminal Court for the former Yugoslavia.
At the Slovak Embassy in Belgrade, Lajčák and representatives of the Serbian non-governmental sector will hold discussions on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the Bratislava process that was one of the most significant initiatives that contributed to unification of the Serbian opposition against the repressive regime of Slobodan Milosevic.
On Saturday, October 3, the minister will join his countrymen in the village of Backi Petrovac to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the foundation of the Slovak Ján Kollár Grammar School there. TASR
