POLLS: Two wins for Smer and PS, but strong government out of sight

Here's what the last polls tell us about the 2023 parliamentary election. Let's begin with the latest NMS Market Research Slovakia poll.

The liberal party Progresívne Slovensko (PS), led by European Parliament Vice-President Michal Šimečka, was the most popular party four days before the September 30 parliamentary election.

The latest NMS Market Research poll, carried out for the Sme daily between September 21 and 24, shows support of 19.7 percent for PS, followed by the populist party Smer with 19.4 percent.
