The town of Trenčín and the Wagus historical sword-fighting group have organised a 'live' Christmas nativity scene in the town's Peace Square. The nativity scene, in which the Christmas story is being acted out, includes some real lambs, which have proved very popular with children.
"This is appealing to me; it's livening up the square," a local said.
The scenes will be staged at 17:30 on December 21-23. The square is also playing host to a Christmas market with seasonal arts and crafts and a cultural program on a stage in the centre. TASR
