The government and the Slovnaft fuel refinery sat down to negotiate fuel prices once again on May 9.

Economy Minister Ľubomír Jahnátek said on May 10 that the negotiations had been worthwhile.

Following the government session on May 10, Finance Minister Ján Počiatek ruled out the possibility of the government contributing to a decrease in fuel prices by reducing taxes.
