The Sario investment agency has opened five new regional offices in Trenčín, Žilina, Nitra, Banská Bystrica and Prešov to increase foreign direct investment in Slovakia’s regions.
The agency plans to ensure that 75 per cent of future investment goes to areas outside Bratislava, almost the direct opposite of the current trend, and to that end is also planning to open offices in Košice, Humenne and Spišská Nová Ves next year.
