THE INVESTIGATION into last month's Antonov AN-24 military-aircraft tragedy, in which 42 Slovak soldiers and crew were killed, has uncovered no evidence that the aircraft, which crashed in north-eastern Hungary, had any technical faults.
Neither the "black box" flight recorder nor the aircraft wreckage has revealed any problems. Investigators still refuse to speculate on the cause of the crash, the Pravda daily reported.
According to a source in the armed forces, however, one of the most likely causes is thought to be human error.
