No popular vote on EU constitution

THE CABINET has decided that Slovakia will not have a referendum on the European Constitution but will vote on it in parliament.

Ministers for the ruling Christian Democratic Movement (KDH) are in favor of a referendum, but according to the daily SME, the KDH respects the cabinet decision.
