The portfolio of private health insurance company Dôvera will increase by 40,974 new policyholders and its counterpart Union, which is also privately owned, will register 20,567 more clients, the TASR newswire wrote. By contrast, the state-run run health insurer Všeobecná Zdravotná Poisťovňa (VZP) will lose 75,693 people to the other two health insurers, while 14,152 policyholders will join it. Gajdoš attributed the shift away from VZP to its economic results.
