A petition calling on the government to keep more than one public health insurer in Slovakia has so far collected more than 100,000 signatures, said Eduard Kováč, executive director of the Association of Health Insurance Companies.
The petition has only been in c irculation for less than a month, he said.
If more than 100,000 valid signatures are gathered on a petition, parliament is required to deal with the subject of the petition.
