SLOVAKIA's biggest open-air music festival, Pohoda (well-being), which will be held for the 10th time in the city of Trenčín, will stage around 100 artists from 15 countries, including the US alternative legend The Pixies, the Irish band The Frames, and the British hip-hop formation Stereo MCs.
For the third year now the festival, which attracts more than 20,000 music fans every year, will be held at the city's airport.
The festival will be held over the weekend starting on Friday July 15 to July 17.
Apart from the music performances, Pohoda will also feature a number of other activities such as theatre performances, literature readings and discussions. For the first time this year, the Pohoda area will also include a "quiet zone" to allow participants to relax.
More information on the artists and events at Pohoda can be found in English at pohodafestival.sk.
